Symposium on Second Language Writing

The 19th Symposium on Second Language Writing (SSLW2024) will be held November 14-16, 2024, on the theme of Ecologies of Multilingual Writing.

Presented by Vernon Masayevsa (Executive Director Black Mesa Trust, Hopi Leader) and Sheliah E. Nicholas (University of Arizona)

November 15th, 6-7 pm, in the South Ballroom, Student Union

Elder Vernon Masayevsa and Professor Sheliah Nicholas will share their experience as ecological/educational activitsts and language/literacy educators in support of the ancestral Hopi lands and peoples as an inextricable part of our spiritual and ecologocial world.
