Dr. Beatrice Dupuy

Beatrice Dupuy holds a Ph.D. in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Southern California. She has taught English as a Foreign Language at the pre-collegiate level in France, and French and English as a Second Language at the post-secondary level in the U.S. In addition to French language, she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in second language acquisition and teaching. She is currently Associate Professor in the Department of French and Italian at the University of Arizona. She also serves on the faculty of the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT). Her research interests lie in the areas of second language acquisition, reading, and teaching.
