Scholarship Application for K-12 Teachers and Students

Scholarships that waive registration fees are available for K-12 teachers and students attending the summer workshops. The waiver will only apply to one or two workshops per applicant, not to the whole series. To be considered for a scholarship, you must be a full-time K-12 teacher or a student, and you must attach a completed proof of student status or proof of teacher status form to the application below.

Your full name:
Your email address:
Are you applying for a scholarship for one workshop, or two?
What is your first choice of workshop?
What is your second choice of workshop?
What is your third choice of workshop?
Scholarship applications are due by May 8th, 2012.
Are you a K-12 teacher or a student?
Please explain why you want to attend the workshops and how they may contribute to your teaching or education.
Please attach your completed Proof of Status form:

Scholarship applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by May 15th, and will receive registration instructions via email.

If your application for a scholarship is not granted, CERCLL will contact you to request payment of registration fees. Although the early bird registration rate will have ended by that time, you will remain eligible for that reduced rate.

Professional narrative and shared materials

Scholarship recipients agree to the following obligation: Recipients will submit to CERCLL a narrative of their experiences related to the workshop(s) and how they have contributed to their professional and/or educational development by June 21st, 2012.

The documentation for AZ continuing education credits will be sent to scholarship recipients only after they have completed this obligation.

CERCLL may contact scholarship recipients during the 2012-2013 academic year to ask whether you have implemented any of the materials or techniques in your classroom. This information–as well as the workshop experience narrative due by June 21st–may be used in future advertising and other promotional/educational communications. Any curriculum materials that you provide may be shared nationally with other K-16 educators on CERCLL's website. All materials will be properly attributed to their authors.
